Trafalgar's godmother contest offers advisors a free spot on the Dreamer's Seine inaugural
Trafalgar is running The Great Godmother Search to choose the christening godmother for its new river ship, Trafalgar Dreamer. Past Trafalgar guests can enter by naming their travel advisor. The winning guest and the named advisor each receive a complimentary place on the April 2027 inaugural sailing. Entries are open until October 29, 2026.
For advisors, the practical point is that you can't submit entries for clients. You can only promote the contest to past Trafalgar travelers and make sure they name you. That makes it a low-cost reason to contact your Trafalgar repeat clients in the next four weeks.
The announcement also confirms a new river ship and a new Best of the Seine with Paris & Normandy itinerary launching in April 2027. Both can be sold now, whether or not anyone wins.
- Entries close October 29, 2026
- Eligible entrants: past Trafalgar guests who name their advisor
- Prize: christening role and a complimentary inaugural place for the guest and the advisor
- New product: Trafalgar Dreamer and Best of the Seine with Paris & Normandy, April 2027
Expedia TAAP tests Tiqets tours and attractions in a U.K. agency beta
Expedia's agent platform, TAAP, is adding tours and attractions inventory from Tiqets. Advisors on the platform will be able to book activities alongside hotels and flights. For now it is a U.K. agency beta only.
The commercial question is whether it pulls independent activity and FIT business toward a single booking platform. U.S. availability and commission terms have not been confirmed, so there is nothing to act on yet. If you sell FIT or build custom itineraries around third-party activities, watch for a U.S. rollout and compare the commission terms with what you earn through your current activity suppliers.
