Reservations for Disney's Lakeshore Lodge start in three stages: Oct. 6 for DVC members, Oct. 7 for annual passholders and Oct. 8 for the general public. The 967-room resort opens July 1, 2027.
The room mix matters for multigenerational groups. The 1- and 2-bedroom Lake Houses sleep 5 and 8, and the 3-bedroom grand villas sleep 12. Disney confirms 2027 openings at its 55th anniversary
Disney confirmed that Monstropolis, Tropical Americas (with Encanto and Indiana Jones rides), Lakeshore Lodge and other projects open in 2027. Some fans had worried two of the rides might slip past 2027. Advisors can now sell 2027 trips with firmer timelines for those projects.
Disney also confirmed that Cars and Villains Land construction is under way at Magic Kingdom. Those lands are not part of the 2027 slate, so avoid promising opening dates to clients.
Christmas Party Dec. 22 sells out; Jollywood Nights extends into January
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party on Dec. 22 has sold out. It is the second 2026 date to go, after Nov. 24. Tickets ran $189–$229.
Separately, Hollywood Studios' Jollywood Nights now runs Nov. 7 to Jan. 5, its first extension into January. Advisors with Christmas-week families should buy party tickets now for the remaining dates. The January Jollywood dates give clients who miss out an alternative.
Costco's $329.99 Disneyland package sets a price benchmark
Costco is selling a Disneyland package for $329.99. It includes a 2-day park hopper, Lightning Lane Multi Pass and a $60 dining card. The ticket alone lists at $503 for adults. The offer is valid through Dec. 18 with no residency requirement, and it arrives ahead of an expected Disneyland price increase.
Clients will compare against this number. Advisors should be ready to explain what their package adds, or lock in current pricing for clients before any increase.
Margaritaville at Sea opens 2028 sailings with first Costa Rica and Panama calls
Margaritaville at Sea opened bookings for 2028 with 30 itineraries to 25 destinations. Islander sails from Tampa and Beachcomber from Galveston.
New 8-night Islander sailings call at Limón, Costa Rica, and Colón, Panama. The schedule also adds an ABC-islands voyage and holiday sailings, including Mardi Gras and Halloween overnights in New Orleans. For advisors, it is a Margaritaville-brand option for group and multigenerational cruisers who want Gulf-port departures. The line is marketing the schedule to the trade.
