Pricing, passes and party nights: the fine print is shifting under family quotes

Disney Cruise Line now leads with per-person averages, Universal is floating Epic-inclusive three-park passes without details, and Magic Kingdom's Christmas Party nights cut day-ticket hours at 6 p.m. Each changes what a family sees or can do versus what an advisor needs to quote.

Disney Cruise Line search results now show per-person averages

Disney Cruise Line's website has switched its search results to an average per-person 'from' price. One example shows $686 per person for a 3-night Dream sailing. The total for the stateroom no longer appears up front and is shown only once a stateroom is selected.

The commercial effect is on anchoring. Clients comparing a DCL search page with an advisor quote may see a lower-looking number than the family-of-four or five total. Be ready to explain how the per-person average converts to the full stateroom price, and walk clients through what is and isn't included. Check the total at stateroom selection before quoting from search results.

Magic Kingdom Christmas Party nights end day-ticket access at 6 p.m.

On 25 Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party nights between Nov. 8 and Dec. 22, regular day-ticket guests must leave Magic Kingdom at 6 p.m. Party tickets are nonrefundable, and some dates have already sold out.

For holiday Disney World bookings, check the party calendar before locking in park-day plans. A Magic Kingdom day on a party night is effectively a shortened day for anyone without a party ticket. Clients who want the party should buy early, and clients who don't should be steered toward non-party dates.

Universal signals Epic Universe-inclusive three-park passes, with no details

Comcast's co-CEO said Universal will bring three-park passes to market. No price, blockout dates or annual-pass confirmation has been announced.

Advisors with Orlando clients, especially local or repeat-visit families, should not promise Epic-inclusive annual passes. Watch for 2027 ticket and pass announcements before advising clients to wait or buy.

Beaches Turks & Caicos wins family all-inclusive award as a Sandals/Beaches rename is reported

Beaches Turks & Caicos was named Caribbean's Leading All-Inclusive Family Resort and also took Best Incentive Hotel in the market. Both are useful proof points when selling multigenerational groups.

Separately, TravelPulse reports that Sandals and Beaches resort names are being changed across the Caribbean. The details are not visible in the material we have. Advisors should ask the supplier whether the rename affects existing bookings, marketing materials or commission paperwork.

Baha Mar's Culinary & Arts Festival runs through Sunday with a multi-year sponsor

The fifth edition of Baha Mar's Culinary & Arts Festival is underway and runs through Sunday. Chefs Daniel Boulud and Marcus Samuelsson and the band OneRepublic are headlining. Scotiabank has signed on as a multi-year presenting sponsor.

The festival skews adult, so its direct impact on family pricing is limited. It is still a talking point for Baha Mar's food and culture programming. A junior culinary competition also ran in connection with the event.
