Atlas Adventurer Owner's Suites come with air credit, hotel package and Wi-Fi
Atlas Ocean Voyages has revealed the Owner's Suites on Atlas Adventurer, its expedition yacht due in late 2028, and is selling the ship now. Only two exist. Each is about 1,365 sq ft with two bedrooms, butler service and premium spirits and wines.
The inaugural offer carries up to 20% savings plus an Explorer's Choice option. Reserve Collection bookings, Owner's Suites included, receive all three amenities: an air credit of up to $3,000 per suite, a hotel package and enhanced Wi-Fi. Inaugural itineraries cover Asia, the Indian Ocean and the Red Sea.
With two suites on the ship, advisors with top-tier clients should hold space early. The air and hotel inclusions also make this easier to price against other ultra-luxury all-inclusive products.
Antarctica21 opens 2028-29 with 47 departures, its largest season yet
Antarctica21 has opened bookings for its 2028-29 air-cruise season, offering 47 departures, the most it has run. Every departure starts and ends in Punta Arenas.
The fly-cruise format skips the Drake Passage, which helps with clients wary of the crossing. Booking this far ahead lets advisors secure space two seasons out. It also allows a side-by-side comparison with Lindblad's Antarctica Direct sail-and-fly product.
The single gateway simplifies planning. Pre- and post-cruise hotel nights and air routings can be built around Punta Arenas for every client on the program.
Lindblad names Peter Hillary for May 2027 Alaska and December 2027 Antarctica
National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions has announced mountaineer Peter Hillary as a guest explorer on three 2027 departures: two May 2027 Alaska Inside Passage voyages and the December 2027 Antarctica Direct sail-and-fly on National Geographic Explorer.
Named guests give advisors a specific reason to move a client from interest to deposit on a particular sailing. The Antarctica Direct departure is the more consequential of the three, since it competes for the same polar clients that Antarctica21 is now courting for 2028-29. Advisors with clients who have shown interest in either destination can use Hillary's involvement as the hook for an early conversation.
Lindblad's insider sales look scheduled, and the stock is up about 144%
Sven-Olof Lindblad sold about $8.6M of Lindblad Expeditions shares on Oct 20-22. Filings show the sales were made under a 10b5-1 plan adopted in June, so they were pre-scheduled and not a reaction to news.
The operating picture is stronger than the headline suggests. The stock is up about 144% year to date, to around $35. Q2 revenue was $199M against a $186M consensus. The company has also taken control of White Desert and Echo Charlie, which adds a land-based polar angle. Net margin is still slightly negative.
For advisors, this reads as healthy demand and a supplier broadening into Antarctic logistics, not one in distress.
A North Sea review gives advisors an answer to seasickness worries on Scenic Eclipse II
A first-person account in Yahoo Creators describes the 228-guest Scenic Eclipse II holding steady in 20-foot North Sea swells, with the writer's water glass barely moving. The piece credits zero-speed stabilizer fins that are about 50% larger than industry standard.
This is consumer media and one writer's experience, so treat it as anecdote, not a performance guarantee. It is still useful in conversations with clients who hesitate over small expedition yachts, whether for Norway-to-Portugal sailings or polar itineraries. No commercial terms changed.
The cruise orderbook stands at $94.6B and runs 12 years
Seatrade puts the global orderbook at $94.6B across 81 ships and 221,752 berths, stretching 12 years. Supply growth will shape pricing and onboard product across cruising for a decade.
Luxury and expedition tonnage is a small slice of that total. The practical point for advisors is competition for premium clients as mainstream lines keep upgrading their product, and the value of selling newbuilds with long lead times early.
