Trafalgar's godmother search puts an agent on the Dreamer's inaugural Seine sailing
Trafalgar is running a "Great Godmother Search" for its new Trafalgar Dreamer Seine ship. Past guests can enter until Oct. 29 and name their travel agent. If the client is chosen as godmother, the agent receives a complimentary place on the inaugural Seine sailing in April 2027.
The ship will debut on the new Best of the Seine with Paris & Normandy itinerary, which gives advisors a new river product to pitch alongside the contest.
What to do: Contact past Trafalgar clients now. The entry window closes in about two weeks, and each entry needs the client to name the advisor.
- Entries close Oct. 29
- Client must name their travel agent
- Prize for the agent: a complimentary place on the April 2027 inaugural sailing
- New product: Best of the Seine with Paris & Normandy
Kensington Tours joins USTOA
Luxury tour operator Kensington Tours has joined USTOA. Membership generally brings the association's consumer protections, including the $1M Travelers Assistance Program. That should help advisors who sell high-end, custom itineraries.
The source gave little detail, so confirm the specifics, including how the protections apply to Kensington's products, with USTOA or Kensington before using them in client conversations.
Nick Levasseur returns to Collette for Eastern Ontario and the Maritimes
Nick Levasseur is returning to Collette as business development representative for Eastern Ontario and the Maritimes, after a brief stint at Celebrity Cruises. He starts Oct. 19.
The change is narrow but practical. Canadian advisors in those regions will again have their familiar Collette field contact for training, support and group questions.
