Karen Cameron replaces Phil Shipman as Globus UK&I Sales Director
Globus has named Karen Cameron, currently Deputy Head of Trade at Ambassador, as Sales Director for the UK and Ireland. She succeeds Phil Shipman and starts on 2 November. Three trade outlets reported the appointment.
The role covers the Globus family of brands, including Cosmos, Globus Journeys and Avalon. It owns agent training, fam trips, product development and roadshows.
What it means for advisors: expect a new main contact for those brands. A change at the top of trade sales can bring changes to trade engagement and incentives, but the sources do not announce any. Treat any shift in fam-trip or roadshow plans for 2027 as something to ask your account manager about once Cameron is in post.
