Disneyland Paris clients ask about Nov. 5 travel as French unrest spreads

Nationwide unrest in France has clients with imminent Disneyland Paris trips asking whether to go. Reports cite 1,200+ arrests, about 550,000 protesters and a tourist office burned in Lyon, and one headline questions whether Nov. 5 may be deemed potentially dangerous.

For advisors, the work is practical and time-sensitive. Contact travelers departing in the coming weeks before they contact you. Check supplier flexibility and change terms, confirm what travel insurance covers, and monitor government travel advisories. The source frames the situation as ongoing, so don't assume it resolves before travel dates. Document your outreach and any client decisions to keep options open if conditions change.

Christmas Party sells out nights while November hours shift

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is sold out on opening night, Nov. 8, and on Dec. 22, plus seven other nights, nine in total. Fifteen dates remain, priced $194–$229 for adults and $184–$219 for children. Multi-gen groups need everyone on the same night, so advisors with holiday clients should book now and steer them toward the remaining dates.

Park hours also change for Nov. 1–7. Animal Kingdom runs up to 8 p.m. and Magic Kingdom stays open to 11 p.m. on Nov. 7, which helps itineraries with young children. Once the party begins Nov. 8, day guests will see earlier Magic Kingdom closings, so build those days around the shorter schedule.

Margaritaville at Sea refits Beachcomber as advisor bookings climb

Margaritaville at Sea has signed a £40 million refit contract with Harland & Wolff for the former Costa Fortuna, which carries 3,250 capacity. Renamed Beachcomber, it is due as the brand's new flagship in January 2027. That adds larger Margaritaville-branded inventory, and Travel Weekly reports advisor bookings are increasing.

Watch for launch itineraries, commission structures and group terms before pitching it to multi-gen clients. The ship is a refit with a January 2027 target, so treat early sailings as dependent on the yard schedule until dates are published.
