IHG Diamond Fast Track and Double Elite Nights go out to targeted members
IHG is emailing targeted One Rewards members a Diamond Fast Track offer. Qualifying stays through December 31, 2026 earn Diamond status through the end of 2027, and double elite night credit applies on top. The deadline is firm, so advisors with frequent IHG clients should check whether those clients received the email and steer fall and holiday stays to IHG brands before year-end.
It works like a status-match shortcut. Eligibility is targeted, so ask clients to look for the offer rather than assuming they have it.
Hilton Honors runs a 120% Buy Points sale with higher purchase limits
Hilton Honors is selling points at a 120% bonus through November 21, with purchase limits raised for some members. It is the highest points bonus the program has offered. For clients planning award stays, buying points at this level can lower the effective cost of a redemption. It also shows how much Hilton leans on point sales for revenue.
As with any points purchase, advisors should compare the all-in cost per point with cash rates for the intended stay before recommending a purchase.
Hyatt, Accor and GHA offer smaller earning and status hooks
Several smaller programs have offers worth passing along to the right clients:
- World of Hyatt: double points, capped at 50,000, for select corporate travelers on stays from October 1 to February 28, 2027. Clients must register first, so check eligibility for employees of large companies before they stay.
- ALL Accor: double points at Emblems Collection hotels, Accor's soft-brand portfolio, from October 12 to December 31 for registered members.
- GHA: Platinum status for a fee, through StatusMatch, to employees of select companies. Apply by December 31, 2026. It can open amenity and upgrade eligibility at brands including Anantara, Kempinski, Pan Pacific and Pestana.
Mandarin Oriental Miami breaks ground with fewer rooms and strong residential presales
Mandarin Oriental has broken ground on its Brickell Key hotel in Miami, with opening planned for 2030. The hotel will have 121 keys, down from the 151 first announced. The residential side, developed with Swire Properties, has topped $1.7 billion in presales.
Fewer rooms in a luxury product points to tight inventory and top-of-market rates at opening. Advisors can start positioning it as a future Miami option for high-end clients. The groundbreaking comes as Mandarin Oriental continues to expand its branded residences business through Exceptional Homes in new destinations.
Dubai luxury hotels add perks instead of cutting rates
Dubai's luxury hotels, Atlantis among them, are holding published rates while overseas demand stays weak after the US-Iran war. They are adding value instead, such as resort credit, upgrades and dining credits.
For advisors, this changes the negotiation. Ask for amenities and upgrades rather than a lower rate, and expect more flexibility on extras for international bookings.
Anantara opens its first African safari camp and signs a UAE island resort
Minor Hotels is extending Anantara into safari with Anantara Tented Camp Kafue River in Zambia. The 13-key lodge is the brand's first in Africa and is run in partnership with African Parks. Separately, Anantara Siniya Island is slated to open in Umm Al Quwain in 2030 with 125 keys.
A current booking hook sits alongside the development news. GHA Discovery members get a D$30 bonus at select Minor Hotels properties, including Anantara, Avani, NH and Tivoli, for stays booked by December 7 and completed by January 31, 2027.
