Trafalgar puts its full 2027 range on the redesigned advisor portal
Trafalgar's expanded 2027 portfolio, covering saver, classic and premium tiers, has been searchable and bookable on the redesigned Travel Advisor Portal since Oct. 6. The practical change is that advisors can compare and book journeys across value tiers in one place instead of switching between products.
Commercially, that makes tier positioning easier to demonstrate to clients. It also sharpens the comparison with Insight, Costsaver and Globus, since Trafalgar's own ladder from value to premium is now visible side by side. Advisors who sell Trafalgar should log in and test the compare function before the next round of 2027 client conversations.
Globus and Cosmos launch 'Unpack and Explore' base-in-one-place tours
Globus and Cosmos have introduced Unpack and Explore tours, which keep guests in only one or two hotels over six nights, across Europe and North America. The lead example is the Algarve Explorer, priced from $2,099 per person for a May 2027 departure.
For advisors, this is an escorted option for clients who resist classic multi-city touring because of frequent hotel changes. It gives a fresh 2027 angle for slower-paced travelers, and the entry price offers a reference point when set against Trafalgar's new tiers. Check the individual itineraries for inclusions before comparing them directly.
Flair Vacations nears launch as a new Canadian package operator
Flair Vacations, a new tour operator from Flair Airlines, is days from launching in Canada, and trade partners have had a first look. It will cover 3- to 5-star hotels, include a carry-on and one checked bag as standard, and says it is moving away from the low-cost model.
A press release is expected within days. Commission structure and host-agency terms are not yet public, and those will decide whether it matters to Canadian advisors. Until then, it is worth watching as added competition in the Canadian package field.
