Hilton Honors runs a 120% Buy Points sale through November 21
Hilton Honors is offering a 120% bonus on purchased points from October 7 to November 21, 2026, with a raised purchase limit. LoyaltyLobby describes it as the highest-ever Hilton points-purchase bonus.
For advisors, the sale lowers the effective cost of points for award stays. Clients who are short on points for an aspirational redemption can top up at a better rate than usual. Tell them before the window closes on November 21.
As with any points purchase, compare the effective per-point cost with the cash rate before recommending it. Award stays make the most sense where cash rates are high.
Radisson Rewards folds in Louvre Hotels Group; GHA Discovery adds a Minor bonus
Louvre Hotels Group's European properties are being integrated into Radisson Rewards. The integration brings a white-label Radisson-style booking site and shared logins. It widens Radisson's loyalty footprint and points to continued consolidation among mid-market European chains. Advisors should check how rates, point earning and commission handling change on these hotels.
Separately, GHA Discovery is offering registered members an extra D$30 on stays at select Minor Hotels brands: Anantara, Avani, Colbert Collection, iStay, NH and Tivoli. Members must register and book by December 7, and stays must be completed by January 31, 2027. The value is modest, but it is a useful add-on when pitching these brands for winter travel.
Mandarin Oriental breaks ground on Miami flagship
Mandarin Oriental has broken ground on its Brickell Key project in Miami: a 121-room hotel in a 33-story tower, with 28 hotel-collection residences. The opening is set for 2030. The brand's previous Miami hotel was imploded in April, so US luxury advisors have no Mandarin Oriental inventory in the city until the new building opens.
The residential side is already selling. The project has logged more than $1.7 billion in presales ahead of construction. The project also fits Mandarin Oriental's push to add 20 more residences by 2031.
For advisors, this is a long-range pipeline item and not a current booking option. Miami clients who prefer the brand will need an alternative for the next several years.
Anantara signs a 125-key resort in Umm Al Quwain for 2030
Minor Hotels has signed Anantara Siniya Island Resort & Residences in Umm Al Quwain, scheduled to open in 2030. It brings Anantara to a new UAE emirate, about 50 minutes from Dubai. The resort includes 125 branded residences.
The opening is four years away, so the near-term effect is limited. It still signals continued Gulf expansion by an Asia-based chain with US-advisor relationships. Because Anantara is part of the GHA Discovery network, bookings at the brand already carry loyalty value for clients.
Advisors planning luxury Gulf itineraries should add it to the pipeline watch list and expect more detail on rooms and positioning as the opening gets closer.
Marriott's Best Rate Guarantee still delivers little
A LoyaltyLobby test of Marriott's Best Rate Guarantee found it delivers little in practice. The piece notes that BRG conditions have tightened across chains. The evidence is anecdotal, but the direction matches what many advisors already see.
For advisors booking commissionable or agency rates, the practical point is that BRG claims are rarely honored, so clients should not be sold on the guarantee as a safety net. It strengthens the case for booking through an advisor, where negotiated rates and amenities are the real value.
IHG One Rewards lines up October bonus points and rate offers
IHG's October promotions include bonus points and rate offers, summarized in a LoyaltyLobby roundup. It is a routine update and not a program change.
Advisors with IHG-loyal clients can match upcoming bookings to the current offers for added value. Check each promotion's registration requirements, eligible brands and stay dates before quoting it to a client.
