Advisor incentives take center stage as Collette and Trafalgar court 2027 volume

Collette introduces a four-tier advisor loyalty program with earnings starting Jan. 1, while Trafalgar's $100K 'New Era' draw runs through Dec. 18. Intrepid's Air Canada Vacations tie-up and A&K's Japan rail charters round out a day of new ways to sell small-group and high-ticket touring.

Collette launches tiered advisor loyalty program, earning from Jan. 1

Collette has introduced a Travel Advisor Loyalty Program with Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum tiers, based on qualifying traveller revenue. Benefits are cumulative, covering advisor travel perks, training and support, and status carries into the following year.

What it means: earning begins Jan. 1, 2027, so advisors who sell Collette have a short window to plan next year's volume and decide where to concentrate bookings. Tier thresholds are being shared at a virtual event, which is worth attending before committing to a target tier.

Trafalgar's $100K 'New Era' advisor draw runs through Dec. 18

Trafalgar is running a global giveaway for advisors through Dec. 18. Advisors earn a draw entry per qualifying passenger booking once the deposit is received, plus a bonus entry for completing the New Era Masterclass.

Prizes include a Trafalgar river cruise cabin and TTC vouchers, with eight weekly draws and a grand prize on Dec. 21. Note that this is a sweepstakes, not guaranteed commission, so it works best as a bonus on bookings advisors would already place, and as a prompt to learn Trafalgar's expanded portfolio and new tiers.

Intrepid adds Air Canada Vacations; Canadian bookings up 48% in September

Eight Intrepid Canadian small-group itineraries are now bookable through Air Canada Vacations and its advisor network, giving Canadian advisors a new wholesale route into the product.

Intrepid reports Canadian bookings up 48% in September, industry-channel bookings up 43% year over year, and Canada as its fastest-growing market. Intrepid sits outside the core escorted-operator set, but the numbers point to continued demand for small-group travel.

A&K to charter Japan's Seven Stars in Kyushu in 2027, from $42,995

Abercrombie & Kent plans two charters of the Seven Stars in Kyushu train in 2027: one in April for cherry-blossom season (18 guests) and one in September (20 guests). The charters bypass the train's lottery booking system.

The 10-day itinerary starts at $42,995 per person, and space is very limited. Luxury advisors with Japan clients should inquire early.
