Canyon Ranch Austin opens with Texas's largest spa, from $1,325 a night
Canyon Ranch Austin opened Oct 15, its largest resort and first ground-up build in Texas. It has 141 rooms and is bookable from $1,325 a night. The rate includes meals and a $200 nightly spa credit, with an extra $300 wellness credit on stays longer than three nights.
The program draws on a 12,000 sq ft medical center and the new Women's Wellness Collective, which covers menopause, hormonal health and sleep. Fall women's-health retreats are already selling, and one December session is sold out.
For advisors this is a high-ticket drive-to option for US clients. Confirm commission and group terms directly with Canyon Ranch.
The International Spa Association's 2026 study adds context: 191 million US spa visits in 2025, just under the 2019 record of 192 million, and revenue up 4.2% to $23.5B. That supports demand for builds like this one.
GOCO takes Fivelements global, with Koh Samui first in 2027
GOCO Hospitality has acquired Fivelements, known for its integrative healing retreat in Bali, and plans a four-property rollout: Koh Samui in 2027, Bali in 2028, Switzerland in 2029 and Montenegro in 2030.
That adds integrative-wellbeing inventory in Thailand, Switzerland and the Balkans over four years. Advisors with Bali retreat clients should expect a multi-destination brand rather than a single property.
Ask about preferred-partner and commission programs ahead of the 2027 Koh Samui opening, since early supplier relationships tend to set terms for later openings.
GLP-1 aging data and Cellino's $5K cell banking test longevity programs
Eli Lilly and Novo Nordisk report that GLP-1 patients show slower biological aging on epigenetic clocks. The data comes from the drugmakers, so treat it with caution. It still strengthens the link between GLP-1 use and longevity positioning, and longevity clinics are likely to field more GLP-1 clients asking about program fit, screening and tracking. Confirm each property's medical-screening and medication policies before booking.
Separately, Cellino launched a Reservoir immune-cell banking service for longevity consumers at about $5,000, plus $270 a year for storage. The future clinical use of the stored cells is still undefined. It could become an upsell for high-end clinics, so ask what they offer, how they handle claims and which partner clinics are involved.
Aescape's Tom Brady robotic massage protocol starts at $39
Aescape launched the Brady Protocol, a 30-minute robotic massage and recovery session starting at $39. The company's robotic massage is already in Marriott, Hilton, Four Seasons and Equinox, which makes automated bodywork a growing spa-menu and hotel-amenity feature. It could change treatment-room pricing and staffing.
There is a supplier-risk caveat. Aescape's original entity went insolvent in May with over $150M in unsecured debt, and its assets moved to a new operating company. Check partner continuity before featuring it in client itineraries.
