Ponant repeats its Antarctic circumnavigation; Atlas opens 2028/29 and runs a deadline offer
Ponant has opened its 2028–29 Antarctic season with 12 itineraries and nearly 30 departures across four ships. It repeats the full circumnavigation after the 2028 sailing sold out: 59 nights on Le Commandant Charcot, departing Ushuaia on Jan. 11, 2029. Fares start at $15,450. The 10-night 'Emblematic Antarctica' bundles a Buenos Aires pre-night, Ushuaia flights and transfers.
Atlas Ocean Voyages has also released its 2028/29 Antarctica season. Separately, its 'Season of Discovery' promotion on 2026–27 sailings offers up to 15% bonus savings plus a choice of an air credit of up to $1,500, a pre-expedition hotel night, or enhanced WiFi. Book by Dec. 31; fares rise Jan. 4.
For advisors: polar clients wanting the circumnavigation should be held early, since the 2028 sailing sold out. The Atlas inclusions are the closing lever for nearer-term business.

Lindblad adds a 15-day Costa Rica and Panama itinerary
National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions has added a 15-day 'Epic Costa Rica & Panama' itinerary for 2028–29. It crosses the Panama Canal and calls at Coiba and the Osa Peninsula. Two existing itineraries are reworked: Guanacaste now has six- and eight-day options, and the Panama-only Quest voyage is updated.
The mix of lengths gives advisors more ways to place active, multigenerational and shorter-trip clients, with the two-week voyage as the flagship for those who want depth.
Lindblad shares are up about 145% this year ahead of Nov. 3 results
Lindblad trades near $35, up roughly 145–150% year to date following the White Desert and Echo Charlie acquisitions. Jefferies raised its target to $32 with a Hold rating, below the current price. The company is still unprofitable on a trailing basis.
Third-quarter results on Nov. 3 will test booking strength and margins. For advisors, the print is a read on expedition demand and on how stable Lindblad's pricing and inventory are likely to be.
