Silversea opens 103 voyages for 2028-29 on Oct. 8
General sales open Oct. 8 for Silversea's September 2028 to May 2029 program: 103 voyages, 219 destinations and 29 new ports. The Mediterranean gets a 17-sailing two-ship deployment with Silver Nova and Silver Dawn. Silver Nova also makes a round-trip circumnavigation of South America with Antarctic Peninsula scenic cruising. New S.A.L.T. Culinary Voyages focus on truffles and Asian markets. Event-timed sailings include Venice, Rio Carnival, and New Year's Eve in Sydney and Funchal.
For advisors, the commercial point is early inventory. The best cabins and event dates are the first to go, and the two ships dedicated to Australia and Asia open a long-lead sales window. Clients who want Antarctica without an expedition landing program have a new option in the South America circumnavigation.
Silversea's Caribbean: Canouan beach day, St. Barth, San Juan departures
Silversea's 2028-29 Caribbean sailings, also on sale Oct. 8, add San Juan embarkations and St. Barth calls. They also include an exclusive Canouan "Destination Experience" with a Carnival welcome and a beach soiree.
The Canouan day is the piece advisors can sell as a differentiator. San Juan departures and the St. Barth calls widen winter options for clients who want a shorter or quieter alternative to the Mediterranean.
Atlas pairs Africa voyages with A&K Sanctuary safaris
Atlas Ocean Voyages has added seven pre-cruise safari packages for its 2029 Africa season, tied to Atlas Adventurer sailings from Mombasa. The centerpiece is an exclusive partnership with Abercrombie & Kent: an eight-day A&K Sanctuary journey across three private reserves. The other programs cover Kenya and South Africa.
It is a bundled land-and-sea product with an A&K Sanctuary tie-up. That makes it a higher-ticket add-on for advisors who already book polar and expedition clients and want to extend those trips onto safari.
Seabourn names its 2026-27 Antarctic expedition team
Seabourn has named the expedition team for its 2026-27 Antarctica season aboard Seabourn Venture and Seabourn Pursuit. The season is close, so the naturalists and expedition leaders are a selling point for polar clients now, and relevant to any remaining inventory and in-season conversations.
Regent details Seven Seas Prestige bars ahead of December debut
Regent Seven Seas has revealed the bar and beverage concepts for Seven Seas Prestige, including Galileo's Bar, Azure and Solmar Terrace. The ship debuts in December 2026. This is product detail, not a change in pricing or policy. It still gives advisors specific talking points for Regent's all-inclusive positioning when selling the ship's early sailings.
HX posts record suite bookings; Aurora pushes all-inclusive Antarctica
HX Expeditions closed its Arctic season with its highest HX suite bookings to date across 31 expeditions. CEO Gebhard Rainer is positioning the brand, independent of Hurtigruten since 2025, as an "experience company." That matters when advisors compare HX with Lindblad, Ponant and Silversea in polar sales.
Aurora Expeditions, meanwhile, ran its largest Antarctic season and launched Douglas Mawson in December 2025. It trialed all-inclusive Antarctic departures with optional activities such as paddling, snorkeling and camping included for all guests. It is also pushing into North America through the trade.
Explora opens 2027 Monaco Grand Prix bookings
Explora Journeys has opened bookings for its 2027 Monaco Grand Prix sailings. Inventory is limited and demand for the event is high. Advisors selling an experiential premium should book early for the best availability and pricing.
