The 2027 program adds inventory as well as a price incentive. RV Brasilian Dream is a 32-guest Amazon ship sailing from January 2027, with 10-night itineraries from $7,409 per person. New cruises are planned in Hungary, Greece, Spain and France, and the season now runs deeper into November.
For advisors, this is a mid-priced, inclusive-fare alternative to Viking, AmaWaterways and Uniworld. It suits clients who want a known all-in cost. The deadline is the reason to call those clients this week rather than later in the season.

Viking lost over half its European river days to low water this summer
Viking reported that more than half of its European river-cruise days from mid-July to mid-August were affected by low water. Ships changed ports, guests were moved between ships, motorcoaches replaced sailing, and some cruises were canceled.
A post-mortem from River Cruise Advisor argues that vessel design and draft, and the specific river and section, should now drive supplier and ship selection for 2027. That is retrospective analysis rather than breaking news. It still changes the conversation with clients.
Advisors should qualify clients on which river and which stretch they are booking, and on the ship's draft. They should also set expectations about substitutions and motorcoach segments before deposit, and revisit travel-protection choices. How a supplier handles disruption is now part of the sales pitch, and it belongs next to any early-booking discount.
