Disney Cruise Line search results now show per-person averages
Disney Cruise Line's website now displays an average per-person rate in search results instead of the full stateroom total. One example is $686 for a 3-night Bahamian sailing. The full stateroom total appears only once a guest reaches stateroom selection.
What it means for advisors: clients comparing fares on their own will see lower headline numbers than they have before. They may be surprised when the real total appears. Reset price expectations early, and quote the all-in stateroom total up front. That makes you the source of the number clients can actually budget against.
Coverage of the change frames it as a display change, not a fare change. Check any client screenshots against a current all-in quote before comparing them with other lines.
Port Orleans Riverside: lobby work through early December, rooms through August 2027
Part of the Port Orleans Riverside lobby is closed through early December. Guests arriving over Thanksgiving week will still run into restricted areas. Guest-room refurbishments at the Moderate resort continue through August 2027.
What it means for advisors: families booked here for the holidays or through next summer should hear about the construction before arrival, not at check-in. Talk through the trade-offs with clients who are sensitive to noise or limited access. Where expectations can't be met, consider moving them to another Moderate. Confirm room-specific refurbishment status when you book.
Universal's Animal Actors closes after Nov. 2; Six Flags adds restraints, keeps nine coasters shut
Universal Studios Florida: the opening-day Animal Actors on Location! show ends after Nov. 2, and the space is slated for a new experience. Families visiting in the next week can still catch it. The replacement is worth watching for future Universal Orlando itineraries.
Six Flags: following a fatal ejection on a Goliath coaster on Oct. 12, the company is adding seat belts to Goliath and similar coasters and commissioning an independent safety review. Nine coasters remain closed. Six Flags is peripheral to most Disney, cruise and all-inclusive bookings. Advisors who sell regional parks or combo trips may get questions about ride availability and restraints, so check current closures before confirming plans.
