Atlas opens 2028-29 Antarctica with doubled Drake Fly & Sail and an early-booking incentive
Atlas Ocean Voyages has put its 2028-29 Antarctica season on sale, two years out. The programme has 25 sailings. Drake Fly & Sail departures double from two to four. There is a new 7-night Drake Express that flies both ways, and an 18-night South Georgia and Falklands voyage.
Commercial terms: Agents who book by Dec. 31, 2026 get up to 10% savings plus an Explorer's Choice benefit, which is an air credit, a hotel night or Wi-Fi. A price change on Jan. 1, 2027 locks in current fares until then. The deadline gives you a concrete reason to move polar clients now.
Story to sell: The Nov. 16, 2028 sailing marks 100 years since the Wilkins-Eielson flight.
Fly-both-ways product suits clients who want to skip the crossing, and the air credit option matters for them. Check the exact benefit terms with Atlas before quoting.

Explora III makes its New York debut as the fleet roadmap fills out
Explora Journeys' EXPLORA III has made its maiden call in New York. It is the brand's first LNG ship. It is on an East Coast run in North America before a first Caribbean season out of Miami. Explora hosted advisors aboard in New York, so the brand is courting the U.S. trade directly.
The fleet roadmap puts EXPLORA IV in early 2027, with V and VI following through 2028. For advisors that means new ultra-luxury capacity arriving in a steady sequence, and a Miami-based Caribbean programme to pitch to U.S. clients. Ask Explora for ship-inspection dates and for sales material on the Miami season.
Lindblad hits a record high on a Q2 revenue beat and analyst upgrades
Lindblad Expeditions shares reached an all-time high near $36 after Q2 revenue of $199M against $186M expected, followed by analyst upgrades. The market is reading this as strong expedition demand.
For advisors, this is an indirect signal. Strong results can mean firmer pricing and less discounting on popular polar and Galapagos departures. Clients set on key 2027 sailings may do better booking sooner. The numbers also support confidence in Lindblad as a supplier. Treat this as a prompt to check inventory, not as confirmed tightening.
