Silversea opens 103 voyages for 2028–29, led by a 75-night South America circumnavigation
General sales opened Oct. 8, following a Venetian Society preview on Oct. 6. The collection runs September 2028 to May 2029 and covers 219 destinations, 56 countries and 29 new ports.
The headline product is a 75-night Silver Nova voyage from Fort Lauderdale on Jan. 13, 2029, with Antarctic Peninsula scenic cruising. Also on offer are three Wine & Truffle voyages, four Asian Markets voyages, and Carnival sailings in Venice and Rio. Kobe and Bali are new turnaround ports.
This is high-ticket, long-lead inventory. It suits clients who book early and want first pick of cabins on the longest itineraries. Advisors with Silversea repeaters can pitch the culinary and festival-timed sailings now.
Atlas doubles Drake Fly & Sail departures in 25-sailing 2028/29 Antarctic season
Atlas Ocean Voyages has set 25 Antarctic expeditions from October 2028 to March 2029. Drake Fly & Sail departures rise from two to four. The program also includes two 12-night Antarctic Circle trips and an 18-night Grand Antarctica itinerary covering South Georgia and the Falklands.
Fly-and-sail avoids the Drake crossing, which should appeal to time-pressed clients and those wary of rough water. Bookings made by Dec. 31, 2026 earn up to 10% Bonus Savings plus air and hotel packages. That gives advisors a firm deadline to sell against.
Explora Journeys: river ships on the horizon, a President's Journey and a New York call
Explora Journeys has signed a letter of intent with Den Breejen for luxury river ships, with sales expected in 2027. This is not a firm order. Specifications, itineraries and dates are unconfirmed. Advisors should watch for pricing, commission and inclusions, as the move would bring a new competitor to ultra-luxury river cruising.
On the ocean side, EXPLORA III made its first New York call on its way to a Miami-based Caribbean season. It is the brand's first LNG-powered ship, and advisors were hosted aboard.
Explora II will host the brand's first President's Journey with Anna Nash on Dec. 9–16. The Barcelona–Tenerife sailing is part of the Serene Mediterranean winter collection and includes an overnight in Casablanca. Sources disagree on whether it is six or seven nights, so confirm with the line before quoting it.
Regent adds new bars and signature drinks ahead of Seven Seas Prestige debut
Regent has detailed the beverage program for Seven Seas Prestige, including Galileo's Bar and Mediterranean-themed drinks at Azure. This is mostly product colour. The commercial points are the ship's size and timing.
Prestige is Regent's first new ship class in a decade. It has 411 suites and measures 76,550 GT, about 40% larger than its predecessors but with only about 10% more guests. It debuts Dec. 28, 2026 from Miami, so inaugural-season selling is under way. Advisors can lean on the space ratio when positioning it against rival ultra-luxury newbuilds.
