Regent Seven Seas marked 35 years of ultra-luxury cruising with an Anniversary Collection spanning 35 sailings across six ships in 2027, including the debut of the new Seven Seas Prestige class. Bookings made by August 31, 2026 carry savings of up to 35% plus a complimentary $350 shipboard credit per suite — a firm deadline advisors should be flagging now to clients weighing 2027 ultra-luxury plans. With a new ship class entering the fleet alongside the promotion, this is as much a chance to sell forward-looking Prestige inventory as it is to close anniversary-priced bookings on existing ships. With roughly five weeks left on the clock, this merits proactive client outreach rather than a wait-and-see approach — anniversary pricing and shipboard credit rarely stack twice.

Silversea rolled out two new niche collections in short order. Its first dedicated culinary line, S.A.L.T. Culinary Voyages, launches seven sailings on Silver Dawn and Silver Spirit across Portugal, Spain, France and the UK starting August 27, timed to the European grape harvest and bundling private Douro port-blending, Michelin-chef lunches and truffle hunts into the fare. Separately, a new partnership with PerryGolf adds all-inclusive golf itineraries from Southampton and Barcelona in 2027, with green fees, transfers and equipment logistics bundled into the cruise fare, timed around marquee events like the Ryder Cup and The Open. Neither product competes with the other: one sells to food-and-wine clients with imminent 2026 departure dates, the other targets golf enthusiasts booking a year out. Advisors working either niche now have a concrete, differentiated Silversea product to pitch beyond standard Mediterranean sailings.

The historic 104-passenger Hurtigruten vessel Nordstjernen has cancelled its August 10 call at Lerwick after striking a quay in Gdańsk and sustaining hull damage. The ship, built in 1956 and a fixture of Svalbard and coastal Norway sailings, remains under repair with the rest of its schedule still unsettled. Advisors with clients booked on Nordstjernen's Arctic or Svalbard itineraries should contact Hurtigruten directly to confirm which calls are affected and what contingency or rebooking options apply, rather than assuming only the Lerwick stop is at risk. It's a small-scale disruption in passenger terms, but Nordstjernen's age and specialty routing mean substitute tonnage isn't a given — worth checking status before reassuring clients on upcoming departures.
