Disney Believe opens for booking, with DCL promotions running alongside
Disney Cruise Line has opened bookings for Disney Believe, which debuts in December 2027. Travel Agent Central reports a first-ever Encanto musical and a new Frozen family feast. A holiday-season debut will draw multigenerational groups, so advisors should place holds and deposits early.
For sailings that are already on sale, DCL lists promotions on 151 sail dates through June 2027. Select Disney Adventure Singapore sailings offer 50% off the 3rd and 4th guests if booked by Dec. 20, 2026. Advisors with placeholder reservations may qualify for up to 25% off. That makes the offers most useful for families of four or more, and they change weekly, so confirm current terms before quoting.
Polynesian refurbishment slips into early 2027
Disney has moved completion of the Polynesian Village Resort and Polynesian Villas & Bungalows refurbishment from late 2026 to early 2027. The work includes the entrance roadway rework and may affect park views.
Advisors with winter and spring stays booked here should contact clients now. Where the disruption matters to them, look at room-category moves or compensation requests.
Jamaica's recovery is partial, even as Margaritaville Jamaica plans an IPO
About 3,500 Jamaican hotel rooms are expected to stay out of service next winter after Hurricane Melissa. Sangster airport traffic was down 17% in September. For family and all-inclusive clients, that limits availability and connecting-room supply in the peak season.
Margaritaville Jamaica plans a public equity offering within 90 days, aimed at a strong 2026/27 season. That signals operator confidence but does not add rooms. Advisors should confirm room status property by property before committing group blocks.
AAA forecasts record 2027 cruise demand as new family ships arrive
AAA projects 22.4 million American cruisers in 2027, with PortMiami overtaking Port Canaveral. Royal Caribbean's Legend of the Seas, the third Icon-class ship in Florida, starts sailing from Fort Lauderdale in November. MSC World Atlantic joins Port Canaveral next fall.
Strong demand and new family-heavy ships point to tighter inventory and firmer pricing on school-break sailings. That supports urging clients to book early.
Margaritaville at Sea adds its largest ship and a new Orlando base
Margaritaville at Sea's largest ship, Beachcomber, is christened in Miami on Jan. 9, 2027 and repositions to Galveston in October. The line is also expanding Palm Beach to 3- and 4-night sailings and has opened a new Orlando headquarters.
It is a short, casual option for Florida and Texas drive-market families, and a new product for advisors to learn before pitching it.
Holiday signals at Animal Kingdom and Universal, and 2027 Disney construction
One unofficial outlet reports that Disney blocked cast-member and friends-and-family admission at Animal Kingdom for 14 days from Dec. 20 to Jan. 2, second only to Magic Kingdom. That suggests heavy holiday crowds, so steer clients toward early park entry, dining reservations and Lightning Lane planning. The report is unconfirmed.
Universal's holiday season starts Nov. 14. Epic Universe adds first-time Christmas décor, food and merchandise in Super Nintendo World and Isle of Berk.
At Animal Kingdom, CEO Josh D'Amaro's construction photos show the Indiana Jones attraction and Pueblo Esperanza progressing. Disney still says only 2027, so do not promise clients an opening date.
Meliá Serenity Cam Ranh targets multigenerational groups in Vietnam
Meliá's new all-inclusive resort at Bai Dai Beach in Vietnam has 802 planned rooms, 265 of them open in phase one. It offers 3- to 5-bedroom private-pool villas, a kids club, a teens club and a pet-friendly program.
It gives advisors a new Asia option for extended-family groups. Commission and group terms have not been published, so check with Meliá before pitching it.
DCL nursery pricing is not published
Disney Cruise Line does not list its 'it's a small world' nursery rate for ages 6 months to 3 years. A fan blog cites unofficial figures of about $10 per hour, which works out to roughly $140 for a 7-night cruise at two hours a night.
The rate is unconfirmed. Advisors booking families with infants should set expectations up front and verify current rates through Disney's travel advisor resources.
