Kensington Tours becomes newest USTOA Active Member
Kensington Tours, the Toronto-based custom and privately guided operator, has joined the United States Tour Operators Association as an Active Member. USTOA now counts 55 members and 147 brands.
The commercial point is financial protection. Kensington's programs (Tours, Cruise, Ultraluxe, Yachts and Expeditions) now sit under USTOA's consumer-protection framework, including the $1M Travelers Assistance Program. Advisors selling custom and FIT itineraries can use that when positioning Kensington against other custom operators, especially with clients who ask what happens if a supplier fails.
Kensington also says it wants to deepen its advisor and trade relationships. Advisors may see more trade engagement from the company, such as outreach and training. The reports did not give specifics, so ask your Kensington contact what is planned.
