Disney Believe: fares and Oct. 19 on-sale set
Disney Cruise Line has published the 2027 schedule for its fifth Wish-class ship, Disney Believe, with sales opening Oct. 19. The maiden sailing runs Dec. 18-23, 2027, calling at Lookout Cay, Castaway Cay and Nassau. All 2027 sailings depart Fort Lauderdale.
Fares for two in an inside stateroom run $2,683 to $6,444, with holiday sailings carrying the premium. DCL sailings tend to sell quickly, and connecting and family verandah staterooms are usually the first to go. Advisors with family and multi-gen clients should confirm party composition and stateroom preferences before the on-sale date, so requests are ready to place the day booking opens.
Lakeshore Lodge rates are live, with Early Entry included
Reservations for Disney's Lakeshore Lodge opened to the public Oct. 8. The 967-room Deluxe-tier resort on Bay Lake has an opening date of July 1, 2027. Room types are studios, villas, and one- and two-bedroom Lake Houses. Rates are now visible.
The resort has been added to Early Theme Park Entry and Extended Evening Hours. The Lake Houses and villas suit multi-generational groups that want shared space. Advisors can start quoting summer 2027 stays and pitching the Magic Kingdom fireworks views and the lazy river. Other coverage describes themed rooms, but the booking details above are what to quote now.
Hollywood Studios: Monstropolis is phased, and Rise went down on a holiday weekend
Construction of the Monstropolis show building is advancing. Disney has described a phased 2027 opening. The Glob Theater show comes first, and the suspended door-vault coaster may open later. Advisors selling 2027 Studios trips should tell clients that not every feature will be open at launch. A separate unannounced build, 'Project Fedora,' next to the Indiana Jones stunt show has gone vertical. Its purpose is unconfirmed, so it isn't yet something to sell.
On the operations side, Rise of the Resistance stopped operating after 10:30 a.m. on Columbus Day weekend. Lightning Lane slots for Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, Slinky Dog Dash and Toy Story Mania sold out, and waits ran 60-85 minutes. No cause was given. For clients in the park this week, book Lightning Lane early and build flexibility into the day.
Margaritaville at Sea sells an unlimited 2027 cruise pass
Margaritaville at Sea has launched an annual membership for 2027, priced from $2,499 for two. It covers sailings of up to seven nights on three ships, with cabins up to Breezy Balcony. Beachcomber debuts from PortMiami in 2027 and moves to Galveston in October.
Members book 30 days out and hold one reservation at a time. That suits flexible local couples better than set-date family trips. The model still competes with advisor-booked short cruises on price. Check the terms on taxes, fees and extra guests before comparing it with a family quote.
Chapek memoir: Disney still prices for the out-of-state visitor
Bob Chapek's memoir says out-of-state vacationers were worth about six times more per day than frequent passholders, roughly $150 versus $25. He describes tiered tickets, steeper pass prices and the reservation system as deliberate, and the analysis notes that Disney kept that math after his exit. The top Magic Key now costs $1,899, up from $699.
This is analysis rather than new policy. For advisors, the direction is still useful: pricing and availability are likely to keep favoring destination visitors, which supports selling packages for Disneyland trips over reliance on local-pass access.
