The American Dream location is worth flagging ahead of opening for any client itinerary built around that mall, since kosher dining options at large non-Israel retail/entertainment complexes remain thin. PopUp Bagels opened a Garden City, NY location on September 25, convenient to West Hempstead's Jewish community. It carries a hechsher from National Kosher Supervision — but the certification is narrow: it covers only the bagels themselves plus two specific cream cheeses, plain and scallion, both non-cholov yisroel. Every other schmear on the menu, including the flavor being promoted for the grand opening, is uncertified.
