Silversea introduced its first S.A.L.T. Culinary Voyages collection — seven autumn sailings on Silver Dawn and Silver Spirit between August 27 and October 25, timed to the European grape harvest, with private Douro port-blending, Michelin-chef galley sessions and chateau truffle hunts built into the itinerary rather than sold as excursions. Separately, the line partnered with PerryGolf on an all-inclusive golf product debuting in 2027, with guaranteed tee times and included green fees on three routings out of Southampton, Barcelona and Sydney-to-Auckland timed to The Open and the Ryder Cup. The 104-passenger Nordstjernen, a historic vessel in Hurtigruten's fleet used for Arctic and Svalbard sailings, struck a quay while in the shipyard at Gdańsk and has canceled its scheduled August 10 call at Lerwick, Shetland.
