Fivelements goes global: Koh Samui 2027, Bali 2028, Switzerland 2029, Montenegro 2030
Fivelements, the Bali retreat name, has unveiled its next chapter as a global integrative wellbeing brand, with a dated pipeline: Koh Samui in 2027, Bali in 2028, Switzerland in 2029 and Montenegro in 2030. The roadmap is backed by GOCO Hospitality.
For advisors, the value is lead time. Early conversations with wellness clients about group and retreat buyouts can start now, and the brand already has recognition from its Bali property. Watch for commission terms and program lengths as each property nears opening, and treat the later dates as plans rather than commitments.
Robotic massage reaches hotel spas, with a supplier-stability caveat
Aescape and Tom Brady have launched the $39 robotic "Brady Protocol" massage and recovery offering. The robots are already in Equinox clubs, and hotel partners include Marriott, Hilton and Four Seasons.
Expect clients to ask about it as an amenity or a lower-priced spa-menu item, and be ready to position it against human-therapist programs. Note also that Aescape went through insolvency in May and moved to a new operating company. If a booking depends on a hotel's Aescape partnership, confirm it is still active.
Longevity add-ons: $5K cell banking, and GLP-1 aging claims
Cellino's Reservoir immune-cell banking service costs $5,000 upfront plus $270 a year for storage. It is aimed at longevity-focused consumers, and the future clinical use of the stored cells is still unproven. Clients who book medical-wellness stays at places like Clinique La Prairie or SHA may ask whether clinics will bundle it.
Separately, the Global Wellness Summit digest reports drugmaker-linked studies suggesting GLP-1s slow biological aging. If that holds, longevity-clinic demand could shift toward GLP-1 pairing and metabolic programs. The same digest questions vitamin patches, a reminder to vet supplier claims. Rose's $399 at-home water test shows exposure health becoming a consumer category.
