The pairing underscores how ultra-luxury lines are having to route around geopolitical risk in one region while still building out capacity elsewhere. Silversea's 2027 Mediterranean program spans five ocean ships capped at 728 guests, running voyages from seven days to more than 55, calling at over 100 destinations. Seabourn Quest will run a 30-day "Amazon Explorer" voyage roundtrip from Miami, November 18 to December 18, 2028, including an overnight call in Manaus — the line's longest river-adjacent itinerary to date. It anchors what Seabourn is calling its Ruby Jubilee season marking 40 years, which is followed by a subsequent 138-day world cruise. For advisors, this is a high-ticket, far-out product to place now with repeat ultra-luxury clients who have appetite for a single-region deep dive rather than multi-country port-hopping. The extended Manaus overnight also signals a broader shift toward overnight-heavy expedition-style itineraries across the ultra-luxury segment. With 2028 dates already public, advisors have a roughly two-year runway to build milestone or multi-generational trips around the sailing before top suite categories sell out.

Explora Journeys' second all-suite ship, Explora III, moves into Asia service for 2027-28, sailing Singapore, Japan and Vietnam with suite fares starting around $760 a night. That entry price sits lower than advisors might expect for an all-suite ultra-luxury newbuild, giving them a new option to quote against Regent's and Silversea's existing Asia programs — particularly for clients curious about the Explora brand but hesitant on price.
