G Adventures and National Geographic Deepen Their Small-Group Partnership

The operator pairing has added 30 new co-branded itineraries, including a reworked Family Journeys format with capped groups and dual leaders, spanning the Galapagos, Thailand, Peru and Southeast Asia. It's the day's one substantive move for advisors, landing just ahead of the 2027 booking cycle.

NatGeo x G Adventures Adds 30 Itineraries, Reworks Family Journeys

G Adventures and National Geographic have expanded their co-branded NatGeo Journeys collection by 30 itineraries — the largest single addition to the partnership to date. Twenty-four are new small-group NatGeo Journeys; six are updated Family Journeys, a format G Adventures has retooled with group sizes capped at 22, two Expedition Leaders per departure, and a new Junior Explorers Night activity built for multigenerational travelers. Destinations across the release include the Galapagos, Thailand, Peru's Amazon and Machu Picchu corridor, and additional Southeast Asia routings. For advisors, this is straightforward new sellable inventory in a line that already trades on the NatGeo name paired with G Adventures' small-group operations — and the timing, just ahead of the 2027 booking cycle, gives agents a fresh angle for family and multigenerational clients who want structured, well-staffed group departures rather than independent touring.

Thin news day beyond the NatGeo/G Adventures expansion — the rest of today's wires skewed toward general-interest and listicle content with little actionable supplier detail. The desk will flag anything sharper as it lands.
