Uniworld will grow to 22 ships with three new vessels debuting in 2028 — SS Helen and SS Clara on the Danube/Rhine network, and Mekong Mystique on the Mekong — on top of four ships already slated for 2027. American Cruise Lines has launched nine-day Memphis-to-Tulsa sailings on its 180-passenger riverboats, adding Little Rock as a full-day overnight stop starting this fall, including a Thanksgiving-themed departure. Nineteen departures are on sale through 2029 — and three of the next four sailings are already sold out. For advisors working the US river niche, that's a scarcity signal, not a browse-at-leisure listing: remaining premium categories and near-term dates should move now rather than wait for a client to ask. It also makes a useful cross-sell for clients wary of this summer's European water-level disruption — a domestic river alternative with firm departure dates and no drought exposure.

Riviera Travel is marking the first anniversary of its Riviera Explorer training platform by entering every North American advisor who completes the course by August 31 — including past graduates — into a drawing for a free river cruise with airfare. It's a low-effort ask with a real deadline five weeks out from today.
