Explora Journeys took delivery of Explora III in Genoa from Fincantieri, the line's first LNG-powered ship and its largest yet, with 461 suites versus 456 on its sister ships, a new Owner's Residence, and expanded Ocean Residence and Penthouse categories. The ship sails Aug 3, taking over Northern Europe, Iceland, Greenland, Canada, and New England itineraries, then becomes Explora's first ship deployed to Alaska in 2027 — the line's first foray into that market. Explora also confirmed Explora V will debut in Asia in 2028, giving advisors a two-year runway to plan. With CEO Anna Nash reiterating ambitions for luxury-segment leadership by 2028, advisors should start positioning 2027 Alaska inventory and pre/post packages now, and flag the expanded suite categories when comparing pricing against Explora I and II sailings.

Regent Seven Seas is marking its 35th anniversary with a time-limited Anniversary Collection: up to 35% savings plus a complimentary $350 per-suite shipboard credit across 35 sailings on six ships, bookable through Aug 31, 2026. The collection spans the fleet, including sailings tied to the new Seven Seas Prestige class. For advisors, the firm deadline is the point — a hard cutoff roughly five weeks out — making this a clean prompt to re-engage past Regent guests and anyone weighing an ultra-luxury booking before pricing reverts. Because the offer touches all six ships rather than a single itinerary, it's also a useful lever for redirecting undecided clients into whichever Regent product fits their dates, rather than a single narrow pitch.

Silversea launched two themed collections in short order. S.A.L.T. Culinary Voyages debuts this autumn with five confirmed sailings between Aug 27 and Oct 25, 2026 on Silver Spirit and Silver Dawn, timed to the European grape harvest and including exclusive access such as Douro port-blending and a Michelin-lunch stop in Bordeaux. Separately, Silversea partnered with PerryGolf on all-inclusive golf-themed voyages launching in 2027 — Southampton, Barcelona, and Sydney–Auckland departures bundling green fees, transfers, and equipment handling into the fare. Both are genuinely new, dated inventory rather than repackaged marketing: the culinary sailings are seasonal and limited, likely to sell down quickly, while the golf voyages give advisors an early-mover window over a year ahead of departure to lock in premium suites before general release.

The 104-passenger Nordstjernen, one of Hurtigruten's oldest vessels and a mainstay of niche Svalbard and Arctic expedition sailings, sustained a 25cm hull breach after striking a quay and remains under repair in a Gdańsk shipyard. The ship has already cancelled its Aug 10 Lerwick call, and no confirmed return-to-service date has been announced. Given the vessel's small capacity and specialized itinerary, there is no easy substitute within the fleet. Advisors with clients booked on Nordstjernen's Arctic season should contact the line directly to confirm repair timelines, rebooking options, and compensation policy before assuming sailings will proceed as scheduled.
