Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra Opens in Southwest Mallorca from €1,500/Night

Mandarin Oriental's newest property, Punta Negra, opens on the southwest coast of Mallorca with a 131-room soft-opening rate of €1,500 per night for two — inclusive of daily breakfast and a combined dining and spa credit. The positioning is deliberate: private yacht transfers, a curated arts pathway through the estate, and a spa blending Mediterranean and Oriental wellness rituals make this a credible pitch for couples who want European luxury without a long-haul flight to the Maldives or the crowds of Amalfi.

Availability is limited at this introductory rate. Advisors should verify commission structure and blackout dates directly through Mandarin Oriental's travel advisor portal before quoting. The low-season shoulder calendar (late September onward) may offer better availability for honeymoon room blocks. Worth adding to European luxury proposals immediately.

Our Habitas AlUla Packages Summer Desert Honeymoons from ~$480/Night

Our Habitas AlUla is now offering a summer honeymoon rate of SAR 1,800 per night (approximately $480) with 24-hour flexible check-in and check-out, daily breakfast, wellness programming, guided stargazing, and cycling access to the surrounding desert landscape. The two-night minimum keeps it viable as a honeymoon extension bolt-on rather than a standalone commitment.

AlUla's commercial case for advisors is built on differentiation: UNESCO-listed Hegra (ancient Nabataean rock-carved tombs) sits nearby, and the destination draws clients who want something genuinely distinct from a beach resort. At this price point it undercuts comparable experiential honeymoon products in Africa and the Maldives considerably. Saudi Arabia's e-visa process for Western passport holders has improved, though advisors should walk couples through entry requirements at booking. Summer heat peaks mid-day; the property's programming is structured around early-morning and evening activity windows.
