Divi's 7th-Night-Free Flash Sale Closes Wednesday — Act by May 27
Divi Resorts' Memorial Day flash sale has a hard booking deadline of May 27 — two days from today — for travel through August 31, 2026. The offer applies across five Caribbean islands: Aruba, Barbados, Bonaire, St. Maarten, and St. Croix, and is valid on room-only, bed-and-breakfast, or all-inclusive rate plans.
All-inclusive rates start at $167 pp/night on St. Croix and $205 pp/night on St. Maarten, with the seventh night complimentary. Promo code FREENIGHT at diviresorts.com, or book by phone at 1-800-367-3484.
For advisors with honeymoon or romance couples still undecided on a summer Caribbean trip, this is a tangible savings hook. Divi properties skew casual-Caribbean rather than luxury, but the multi-island breadth and low entry rates make them viable for budget-conscious clients. Book before Wednesday close of business.
Westin Playa Vallarta Opens as Mexico's First Bonvoy All-Inclusive
The former Westin Resort & Spa Puerto Vallarta has relaunched after a multi-million-dollar transformation as Westin's first all-inclusive property in Mexico. The conversion adds a meaningful new option to Banderas Bay's honeymoon inventory: adults-only swim-up junior suites, chef-led dining venues, and a refreshed spa, all fully eligible for Marriott Bonvoy earn and redemption.
For advisors who sell Puerto Vallarta honeymoons, the competitive picture has historically been Hyatt-flagged and AMResorts properties. Westin's entry gives loyalty-heavy Bonvoy clients a points-earning all-inclusive for the first time in this market — a real differentiator when the couple already has Marriott status.
Wedding and group contract details have not yet been publicized. Advisors should reach out to the property's sales team now, before group space fills, to understand room-block minimums, comp structures, and private-event venue availability.
Hilton Plants a Curio Flag in Samaná — 2028 Pipeline, Underserved DR Market
Hilton has signed Almare Beach Resort Las Terrenas under the Curio Collection flag in Las Terrenas, Samaná Peninsula, Dominican Republic. The 252-key property (90 hotel rooms plus 162 residences with optional hotel inventory) is scheduled to open in 2028 and will carry Hilton Honors as its loyalty currency.
Samaná is the DR's scenically distinct alternative to Punta Cana — rainforest-backed beaches, fewer crowds, whale-watching season — but it has historically lacked branded resort options for groups and destination weddings. Almare will bring a beach club, four pools, and a spa to the market.
The 2028 opening limits near-term booking impact, but advisors with couples planning destination weddings two to three years out now have a credible Samaná anchor to pitch. It also differentiates from the Hyatt/Secrets and AMResorts properties that dominate DR wedding bookings, giving Hilton Honors loyalists a DR flag to plan around.
