What this is
The Daily Travel Brief is a morning news digest for travel advisors. Every weekday morning, we publish a curated read across the segments that matter to the trade — cruise, luxury, hotels, adventure, air, and more.
One issue. Multiple departments. Each department is a self-contained read, written to be skimmed at the espresso machine and bookmarked when the day allows.
Editorial position
We write for the advisor, not the consumer. That means: supplier announcements, itinerary intel, commission and pricing shifts, regulatory changes, and the kind of color that helps you pitch — not the listicle content that helps your clients book themselves.
We do not accept payment for editorial placement. We do not rewrite press releases as if they were reporting. When a story is sourced from a single supplier, we say so.
The masthead
The Daily Travel Brief is written and edited by The Editors. Each department is signed by its desk — The Cruise Desk, The Luxury Desk, The Hotels Desk, and so on. Bylines reflect editorial responsibility, not staffing.
How it’s made
Each morning, we ingest hundreds of items from trade press, supplier feeds, regulatory bulletins, and primary sources. We rank them, cluster them by department, and compose a tight edition. The result is what you read.
Sources are always linked. Every department closes with the full citation list. The full pipeline — every desk, every feed, every stage — is documented at the editorial pipeline reference.
