G Adventures and National Geographic Expand Their Small-Group Slate

The two operators added 30 joint itineraries — 24 new Journeys plus six refreshed Family Journeys — spanning the Galapagos, Peru, Southeast Asia and Europe. It's the day's one concrete piece of bookable product news for advisors working the 2026/2027 cycle.

NatGeo x G Adventures Add 30 Itineraries for 2026/2027

G Adventures and National Geographic Expeditions rolled out 30 new joint itineraries — 24 brand-new Journeys and six refreshed Family Journeys — giving advisors fresh small-group product to sell into the 2026/2027 booking cycle. The new departures span the Galapagos, Thailand, Peru and broader Southeast Asia, plus Europe-focused trips including Christmas Markets in Central Europe and a Loire Valley/Bordeaux itinerary. The Family Journeys refresh is the more notable operational detail: groups are capped at 22 travelers, each departure carries two Expedition Leaders instead of one, and the line adds new kids' programming aimed at multigenerational bookings. For advisors, this is a straightforward expansion of a proven co-branded product line rather than a new concept — it widens the counter-season and holiday-travel options (the Christmas Markets itinerary in particular) and gives family-travel specialists a stronger pitch with the smaller group cap and added leadership on trip.

  • 24 new Journeys plus 6 refreshed Family Journeys (30 total)
  • Family Journeys capped at 22 travelers with dual Expedition Leaders
  • New kids' programming added to family departures
  • Destinations include Galapagos, Thailand, Peru, Southeast Asia, and Central Europe/France
