Scenic Eclipse II Ties Fare Tier to Helicopter Access for New Asia-Pacific Season
Scenic has opened its 2028-29 Asia-Pacific deployment for Eclipse II, covering the Kimberley coast, Japan's cherry blossom season, Indonesia, the Philippines and the South Pacific. The headline change for advisors: a complimentary 20-minute helicopter flightseeing experience is now bundled into Best Available fare bookings, not reserved as a paid add-on, while guests booked into Penthouse Suite or Chairman's Club categories get expanded helicopter landing experiences beyond the standard flightseeing. Scenic has also built new handcrafted land journeys around the sailings, pairing voyages with luxury properties such as Kokomo Private Island in Fiji and The Capitol Hotel Tokyu in Japan, extending the trip beyond a ship-only itinerary. With inventory opening roughly two years ahead of sailing, advisors should flag the fare-tier dependency early — clients choosing a lower cabin category will still get flightseeing, but landing experiences require booking into the top suite categories.
