TTC overhauls Groups Programme across Trafalgar, Insight and Costsaver
TTC Tour Brands has reworked its Groups Programme across Trafalgar, Insight Vacations and Costsaver, changing the mechanics of how advisors quote and hold group business. Group pricing now locks at time of reservation, paired with real-time availability and two-way booking communication that replaces the old manual back-and-forth. Scheduled Groups get simplified deposit and release timelines, and — the most concrete change for day-to-day booking — agents can now place holds on Small Groups of just 9-10 guests, down from a higher prior threshold. Custom Groups of 15 or more get a dedicated Groups Specialist from planning through departure, and group benefits can now stack with eligible promotions. For advisors who build volume on group departures, the lower Small Group minimum means more bookings qualify sooner, and locked-in pricing removes a common source of late-stage client friction on multi-brand escorted product.

WTTC: sector investment cleared $1 trillion in 2025, outpacing the broader economy
Global travel and tourism investment topped $1 trillion in 2025, according to WTTC, with the sector growing 8.5% year-over-year — faster than the wider global economy — and contributing a record $11.6 trillion to global GDP. The number matters less as a headline than as a signal: continued capital flowing into product, capacity and infrastructure is what keeps escorted-tour seats and packaged-vacation inventory expanding rather than tightening. It's useful context for the same week TTC is recalibrating group minimums and deposit terms on Trafalgar, Insight and Costsaver — a supplier retooling its booking mechanics reads differently against a sector still attracting record investment than it would amid a capacity pullback. Worth keeping in reserve for client conversations about pricing and availability trends, and for gauging which operators are positioned to keep investing in new product through the rest of the year.
