ALG Vacations Opens 2027 Exclusive Nonstops from 11 Secondary U.S. Markets
ALG Vacations' Exclusive Nonstop Vacation Flights (ENVF) program is adding seasonal lift for December 2026 through August 2027 from eleven cities that rarely see dedicated leisure charter service: Cleveland, Cincinnati, Columbus, Lansing, Milwaukee, New Orleans, Pittsburgh, Raleigh-Durham, Richmond, Rockford, and St. Louis. Carriers — Frontier, Sun Country, GlobalX, Allegiant, and Breeze — will serve Cancún, Punta Cana, Montego Bay, Puerto Vallarta, Los Cabos, and Liberia (Costa Rica).
For advisors based in those markets, the commercial case is direct: ENVF inventory is typically available through trade channels exclusively, wrapped in commissionable packages under the Apple Vacations, Travel Impressions, and United Vacations brands. Prior ENVF seasons have carried early-booking incentives and opened booking windows well ahead of departure. Advisors should contact their ALG regional rep or check ALGVacations.com for when 2027 ENVF dates go live.
Globus Family of Brands Taps Two-Time NTIA Winner Babs Baron for NSW/ACT
Barbara "Babs" Baron joins the Globus Family of Brands as Business Development Manager for New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory, covering the Globus escorted, Cosmos value-touring, and Avalon Waterways river cruise portfolios. Baron won the NTIA Most Outstanding Sales Executive (Cruise) award back-to-back in 2024 and 2025, most recently serving as BDM at APT Travel Group — a strong signal of what the group is investing in the territory.
NSW and ACT advisors should update their contact records now and inquire about familiarization or sales-training cycles ahead of the 2027 selling season. The hire also arrives days before a larger leadership shift: Christopher Leigh takes over as GFOB Managing Director Asia Pacific on July 27, giving the group a new senior commercial pairing in the region. The back-to-back appointments are a deliberate push to strengthen the ANZ trade infrastructure as 2027 product comes to market.
USTOA's Global Kitchen Season 2 Gives Advisors a Culinary Pitch Tool — at No Cost
USTOA's Global Kitchen video series returns for a second season, spotlighting three destinations built around food-motivated itineraries: Québec City, Chongqing, and Cali, Colombia. Each episode is produced for advisors to share directly with clients as credible third-party content — the USTOA umbrella lends implicit operator endorsement without reading like a brochure.
Québec City is an accessible drive-market option with a strong French-Canadian culinary identity. Chongqing, the center of Sichuan hotpot culture, positions China as a forward destination at a moment when group-tour demand is recovering. Cali, Colombia brings Afro-Colombian Pacific-coast cuisine into focus as a genuinely emerging market for adventurous clients. Advisors selling Collette, Trafalgar, Insight, or any USTOA-member product to food-motivated travelers should bookmark and share these episodes — they reinforce destination desirability ahead of 2027 programming cycles without requiring any additional advisor production time.
