Disney Stacks Four Promotions While Closing a Transit Loophole and Raising a Dining Price

Walt Disney World's summer–fall window brings $199 two-park tickets, $109/day four-park passes, and 30% off resort stays — all stackable — alongside a June 28 transit lockout for off-site guests and a same-day Fantasmic! price bump. For advisors, the result is the strongest WDW booking argument in years paired with a short list of client corrections that cannot wait.

Disney's Quad-Promo Stack: Four Simultaneous Deals for August–October

Four concurrent Walt Disney World promotions give advisors multiple entry points for August–October family bookings. The headline offer: a 2-Day/2-Park ticket starting at $199 covering EPCOT and Animal Kingdom, valid Aug 3–Oct 3, now open to all guests — previously Florida residents only — with no blackout dates and no park reservations required. The stronger family deal may be the 4-Park Magic Ticket at $109/day through Sep 26, adding Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios. An After 2 PM Summer Ticket runs from $235/two days through Jul 31. Resort stays qualify for up to 30% off through Oct 3, stackable with either ticket option. The EPCOT pitch sharpens further with the full Eat to the Beat concert schedule now published (Aug 27–Nov 9): Hanson Aug 28–31, Boyz II Men Nov 2–3, The Fray Oct 12–13, and Ben Rector Oct 19–20 are anchor weeks. Advisors can now match clients to specific travel windows rather than pitching a generic fall EPCOT narrative.

Two WDW Corrections Due Now: Transit Lockout June 28, Fantasmic! Price Up Today

Starting June 28, Disney resort buses and water transportation from Disney Springs require documented proof of a qualifying on-site booking — a Disney hotel stay, resort dining reservation, or resort-based experience. The popular workaround of parking free at Disney Springs and boarding resort buses to bypass the $35/day park parking fee is eliminated. Any off-site client who built that transit into their plan needs immediate rerouting; the change also functions as an upsell trigger given the concurrent 30% resort discount. Separately, the Fantasmic! dining package at Hollywood & Vine ticked up for lunch and dinner effective June 17: adults now $82 (from $81), children $53 (from $51); breakfast is unchanged at $67/$41. Other Fantasmic! venue packages are unaffected for now and Dining Plan credits remain valid. Any WDW proposal referencing Hollywood & Vine dinner pricing is wrong as of today — pull current rates from Disney's system before sending.

Lakeshore Lodge's 'The Wetlands' Detailed: Start Stubbing 2027 Family Packages Now

The official Disney Parks Blog has published the first granular look at The Wetlands, the outdoor recreation district anchoring the 967-room Lakeshore Lodge opening summer 2027. Five zones define the complex: Heron Shores, a Pocahontas-themed climbing and dry-play area built around "Colors of the Wind"; Otter Springs splash zone; Daydream River lazy river; Lakeside Lagoon, a zero-entry pool with spiral waterslide; and Perspective Pond, a leisure pool and whirlpool spa with direct Magic Kingdom fireworks sightlines. All rooms carry floor-to-ceiling Bay Lake views; Lake Houses and suites round out the inventory mix. A historic plaque honoring the former River Country site will be embedded in the grounds. The resort is boat-accessible to Magic Kingdom and sits near Wilderness Lodge. Advisors can begin building 2027 family itineraries around Lakeshore Lodge now while inventory is fully open — fireworks-view suites and Lake Houses will be the first categories to allocate.

Level99 Opens at Disney Springs June 29 — Multi-Gen Evening Block Solved

Level99 opens June 29 at the former DisneyQuest footprint on Disney Springs West Side. At 46,800 sq ft it is the brand's largest location, housing 63 challenge rooms across cooperative, competitive, and scavenger hunt formats, plus a two-story bar and scratch kitchen serving Detroit-style pizza, wagyu burgers, and local craft beer. Timed-entry tickets ($29.99+ per person for 1.5- or 2.5-hour sessions) go on sale June 22; no park ticket or Disney reservation required. For multi-gen families, Level99 fills a durable gap: a genuinely engaging evening option for teenagers and adults that requires no park entry and no late-night stamina from young children. It drops cleanly into virtually any WDW itinerary as a no-admission-required dinner-and-activity block, particularly for groups where some members skip a park day entirely.

Universal HHN 35: Stranger Things Finale Confirmed Both Coasts; Lost Continent Demolished

Universal Halloween Horror Nights 35 (Orlando Aug 28–Nov 1; Hollywood Sep 3–Nov 1) has confirmed Stranger Things Season 5 — the franchise finale — as the anchor haunted house at both parks. A series-ending IP drives demand measurably higher than prior Stranger Things HHN entries; Premium Scream Nights in Orlando (Aug 27 and Oct 19) add smaller crowds and included food. Express passes, R.I.P. Tour VIP, and multi-night Frequent Fear passes are on sale now. Multi-gen families with teenagers heading to Orlando or LA this fall should book promptly — HHN nights sell out weeks in advance. Separately, the last opening-day landmarks of Islands of Adventure's Lost Continent — the Poseidon's Trident sculpture, the Sinbad Archway, and Doc Sugrue's Desert Kebab House — were demolished June 15–16. Mythos Restaurant remains open but closes in 2027. No replacement has been announced; returning guests need explicit expectation-setting before arrival.

Universal Kids Resort (Frisco, TX) in Media Preview — Dallas-Area Family Park Imminent

Universal Kids Resort near Dallas has entered media preview, the final stage before general opening. The purpose-built park targets children roughly 2–10 across six IP-rich lands: DreamWorks' Shrek's Swamp, TrollsFest (family coaster and character meet-and-greet dance party), Illumination's Minion-themed Bello Bay Club, SpongeBob's Bikini Bottom, Jurassic World Adventure Camp, and Gabby's Dollhouse Isle of Curiosity. Height minimums begin at 36 inches, among the most accessible thresholds in the country for toddlers and preschoolers. The Universal Kids Resort Hotel is open now with park-facing views. This is a net-new domestic family destination with no meaningful IP overlap with Universal Orlando or Hollywood — designed specifically for families whose children are too young for most Universal coasters. For advisors serving Southwest clients or families near Dallas, this is an opening-window booking opportunity before inventory pressure normalizes.

Dollywood NightFlight Expedition Pushed to Mid-August: Contact Clients Booked Before Then

Dollywood's headline 2026 investment — NightFlight Expedition, the world's first indoor hybrid coaster and whitewater ride and the park's largest-ever single attraction — has slipped from its spring 2026 opening to mid-August, with no confirmed date. Park president Eugene Naughton cited the need for "more work" in an Instagram post without specifics. Families who timed Smoky Mountain trips specifically for the spring or early-summer NightFlight debut will arrive to a park still without the ride. Advisors with clients booked at Dollywood before mid-August should reach out proactively rather than waiting for guests to discover the delay on property. For those with schedule flexibility, a shift to late August or September is the cleanest solution. All other Dollywood rides, shows, and dining remain fully operational.
