Trafalgar's Small-Group Collection: 18 Guests, Boutique Stays, and a Gap Filled
Trafalgar — the TTC flagship historically running coaches of 40-plus — has drawn a hard line at 18 with a newly launched Small Group Experiences collection of 22 itineraries, targeting culturally curious travelers who have resisted larger escorted formats. Seven programs are bookable now; the remaining 15 open in coming months. First departures are scheduled for May 2027.
The 18-guest ceiling matters commercially: it unlocks boutique property access and Trafalgar's 'Be My Guest' private-home and farm dining experiences — venues closed to full-size coaches — creating tangible differentiation advisors can articulate at the point of sale. Highlighted circuits include a Bordeaux-to-Bilbao wine-and-culture routing, a Borneo rainforest journey, and a South Africa safari-and-culture program. TTC Chief Sales Officer Melissa DaSilva and SVP Andrew Young both cited advisor support tools as forthcoming.
Positioned below Insight Vacations in price but above Costsaver in experience depth, the tier fills a gap in TTC's lineup that independent small-group specialists have occupied for years.
